Montgomery has proven his dominance time and time again this year. Whether the Rebels are ready to swing it or not I feel like Jordan will be ready for the challenge.
It is hard to pick a winner in this contest because if you roll down the lineups and through the rotations each team has what it takes and both are full of talent and prospects.
All I can say is that 6:00 can't get here any sooner (closing time for my office)
Agreed on about Montgomery but can't you make the same arguement about Gossett? Don't be surprised if he has a little something extra in the tank tonight. I wonder if Gossett has ever loss two starts in a row within the past two years including summer, spring and fall ball. He might have learned something from Bridgeman the other night who carried a one hitter all the way to the last out of the game.
ReplyDeleteAll I know this is going to be one heck of a AAAA State Championshiop game.
Montgomery is facing 5 LHH tonight though- big advantage to Sumter from that stand point
ReplyDeleteYou talking about the same lineup from Monday? Could make adjustment.
ReplyDeleteAnd how many RHH will Gossett be facing?
The adjustment could be made, but i would be playing with my best baseball players today if I am Haun. RHH see RHP all the time and that was proven on monday. LHH don't see quality lefties much in High school ball and that is a differnce maker.
ReplyDeleteGossett isn't your typical HS RHP. Case closed. Both are very quality pitchers and I am just giving you a hard time buddy. Good luck tonight and enjoy the game. Should be a good one and I'll be following you guys.
